Mil Mujeres

Mil Mujeres is a non-profit organization established in 2007 to meet the escalating demand for bilingual legal services within the immigrant community in the United States. Our primary focus is on aiding survivors of violent crimes, encompassing domestic violence, sexual assault, and criminal assault.

Throughout the last 16 years, we have extended legal assistance to more than five thousand individuals and delivered informational services to over twenty thousand people across the nation.

This book is dedicated to empowering the Hispanic community in the United States, particularly those without immigration status who have faced violent situations. Through the narration of six unique stories, it offers education and information on benefits and protection alternatives for this population All proceeds from the sales of this work will be directed to covering the expenses of those who endure suffering in silence and lack the financial resources to pursue immigration benefits.
